Walt Disney, the man who later in life entertained millions, came from humble beginnings. He grew up on a farm in Merceline, Missouri and first developed his love for cartoons by drawing pictures of his neighbor's horse. The neighbor was a retired doctor whose nickname was Doc, a name that stuck with young Walt.
