Chandler is the second safest city in Arizona and according to some studies it is also the ninth safest city in the entire United States. This statistic is due to things such as the murder rate being 65% below the national average as well as the robbery rate being half what it is elsewhere, so generally speaking violent crime does tend to happen very rarely here.
