Carrie tells the story of a shy girl, who has been sheltered due to her mother's overbearing views on life. Carrie White (played by Sissy Spacek) soon discovers she has telekinetic powers and that's where things get interesting. After having pig blood poured on her at the senior prom, White snaps and uses her powers to kill all of her classmates except one. She eventually goes home and kills her overbearing mother in a startling 'Jesus on the cross' scene. This film goes to show that even the quietest person has an evil streak. A remake of the film is set to hit theaters October 2013.
