1.Gall Stones
Sudden pain accompanied by vomiting and fever can be a symptom of a gallbladder attack. Gallstones are made up of cholesterol and can be caused by too much dairy in the diet. The pain can be extreme, causing people to double over in pain and sometimes pass out. Often surgery is required to remove the stones.
2.Trigenanal Neuralgia
Trigenanal neuralgia affects a nerve that runs from your face to your brain. Extreme pain running along that nerve feels like someone is stabbing you in what some people describe as the most pain they have ever experienced. Pain relievers are often prescribed, with surgery reserved as a last resort.
3.Appendicitis
Appendicitis can come on suddenly and without warning, causing extreme pain in the lower left side of the abdomen. Pressure and pain in the belly button is a first sign that the appendix is inflamed and ready to burst. Vomiting, fever and pain accompany a swelling appendix, which requires surgery to be removed.
4.Migraines
Over twenty eight million people in the world suffer from migraine headaches. Knowing your triggers is one of the most important parts to managing this disease. Foods, lack of sleep, stress and light can bring on a migraine which can last hours or days. Symptoms include light sensitivity, vomiting, nausea, and exhaustion.
5.Cancer
Cancer is not only one of the most deadly diseases in the world, it can be the most painful. Causing tumors that can irritate tissue and press on nerves, patients are also given treatments that are even more painful. Chemotherapy and radiation cause side effects that are almost as debilitating as the disease.
6.Kidney Stones
Men seem to be more prone to developing kidney stones, and when passed naturally through the urethra, watch out. The pain can be excruciating. Pain in the hip and flank area, or between the ribs can be a symptom of kidney stones. The disease can run in families and lasers have been used to break them down for easier passage.
7.Hipradenitis Suppurative
This painful skin disease affects areas that sweat or that have sebaceous glands, such as the underarms, folds in the groin area, inner thighs and under the breasts. Causing clusters of abscessed blisters, the disease can be embarrassing and painful, with some blisters can be the size of a golf ball.

8.Arthiritis
Arthritis is a disorder of the joints with them becoming inflamed, causing pain. Over time the fingers can become twisted, preventing regular use and sometimes debilitating. This disease has been around since at least 3000 BC, with a mummy named Otzi, being found from that era, who seems to have died of arthritis.
9.Crohn's Disease
Crohn's Disease after Dr. Burril B. Crohn who recognized the disease in 1932. Sometimes confused with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, sufferers are often put through many tests until a diagnosis is made. The disease affects the small bowel, causing the frequent need to move the bowels but also causing excruciating pain.

10.Causalgia
Causalgia is one of the more rare painful diseases that affects the arms and legs with continuous aching. The area can become discolored and swollen, as the pain worsens. Treatment includes drugs, therapy and psychologic treatments. The disease affects more women than men and seems to strike around the age of forty two.
11.Ebola
Ebola typically starts out like the flu but worsens with chest pains, sore throat, headaches, and abdominal cramps. If left untreated it can lead to coma. The first casualties of the disease were recorded at the Ebola River, hence its name. The disease is often fatal in humans, and has come and gone since 1976.

Fibromyalgia affects up to 5% of people in the world, with symptoms that include chronic pain, weakness, and muscle spasms. The name itself when broken down means tissue (fibro), muscle (myo) algos (pain). The pain associated with this disease can be debilitating and can include sleep disturbances. The disease affects more women than men.
