Crohn's Disease after Dr. Burril B. Crohn who recognized the disease in 1932. Sometimes confused with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, sufferers are often put through many tests until a diagnosis is made. The disease affects the small bowel, causing the frequent need to move the bowels but also causing excruciating pain.
