15 Weird Things Kids Got On Halloween Trick-or-Treat

Trick-or-treating is a very old Halloween tradition followed in many countries. On Halloween day, children who are dressed in fancy Halloween costumes visit houses in their communities to ask them for treats. If kids don't get their treat, they would do a mischievous trick! Most kids get candies or toys. In some rare cases, they get weird or completely absurd treats! Here are fifteen weird things kids got on Halloween trick-or-treating(as said by them).
1.Condoms for Boys and Period Starter Kits for Girls
"My neighbor gave out period starter kits to the girls and condoms to the older kids."
Though this may sound weird for some, this was actually a good gesture. Let's hope the older kids are legally old enough to use them. Next time when you have to give out a treat on trick-or-treating, consider gifts that are useful to kids (not necessarily be period starter kits).
2.Potato Salad in a Plastic Bag
"Potato salad in a plastic bag."
A kid has got potato salad as treat. Let's hope that was not last night's left over potato salad! Guess what? The kid has got the salad in a plastic bag. Would you eat if you got some potato salad when you trick-or-treating?
3.A Cat
"One year I got an actual cat. His name's Levi and I still have him 17 years later."
This person has got a cat when he was trick-or-treating in his childhood. You don't often get pets as treats unless a family wants to giveaway their pets. This guy sounds good because he kept the cat with him.
4.A Wig
"A Wig."
This kid has got wig as treat. Yes, a wig! No one knows why that person has given a wig as treat to this kid. It looks like trick-or-treating is a good opportunity for some people to dump their old, useless or unused stuff. After all, the point of trick-or-treating is not sending kids back with empty bags.
5.A Baby Turtle and a Can of Orange Soda
"A baby turtle and a can of orange soda."
This kid has got a baby turtle and orange soda as treats. Whoa, we smell sushi here! How are baby turtle and orange soda connected? Weird, very weird indeed!
6.Anti Halloween Pamphlets
"Pamphlets about why Halloween was a celebration of Satan."
Some people hate Halloween. Few hate Halloween because the festival is all messy. Others just hate it based on their personal beliefs. This kid has got an anti Halloween pamphlet as treat. It was better; he got something as treat than absolutely nothing.
7.Plank of Wood
"I got a small plank of wood. Literally. A plank."
This is yet another weird treat. This kid has got a wooden plank as gift. What a wonderful idea? But as we said earlier, it is always better to get something rather than leave the property without a treat.

8.Penis Shaped Gingerbread Cookie
"A gingerbread cookie in the shape of a penis."
This time a kid has got a penis shaped gingerbread cookie. This was a truly awkward and highly inappropriate treat. Why would anyone gift such absurd things to kids? God knows! We are sure no kid ever goes to that house again.
9.Pack of Cigarettes
"A pack of cigarettes for my dad, who was trick-or-treating with me."
Candies are too mainstream for some people. A person has given a pack of cigarettes as treat to a kid. The cigarettes, however, are for the kid's dad, who was trick-or-treating with him. That wasn't a bad gift at all if the dad is actually a smoker. We hope that kid got something useful as well.

10.Pumpkin Shaped Bible
"A mini pumpkin-shaped Bible."
Unless this kid was expecting candies or other attractive treats like toys, we believe he should be happy with what he had got. How many of you own a bible that is in the shape of a pumpkin? We believe not so many.
11.A Walnut
"A walnut... with 'Happy Halloween' written on the shell."
Oh boy, what an amazing treat! This kid has got a walnut on Halloween trick-or-treating. It even had a 'Happy Halloween' message written on it. Nevertheless, this kid has got something to cheer about. It was not that bad, after all.
12.Gold Fish
"Live goldfish — not even in plastic bags. They just panicked and dumped fish into our bags."
Have you ever been so scared in your life on a Halloween day that you just dump your goldfish in the kid's bags who were trick-or-treating? In this funny incident, a family has dumped a live fish into kid's bags who were trick-or-treating. We think they really got scared of the kids' costumes.
13.A Hair Dryer
"A hair dryer."
Another kid said she has got a hair dryer on Halloween's trick-or-treating. When you compare this to a walnut, you would agree that this was a good treat. However, we don't know whether the hair dryer was in working condition or not!
14.Christmas Ornament, Cat Toy and Single Crayon
"A Christmas ornament, cat toy, and a single crayon, all from one house"
This kid who was trick-or-treating on a Halloween day got three different treat. This kid has got a Christmas ornament, a cat toy and a single crayon. This should make that kid happy unless he was expecting something good to eat, like a candy.
15.Animal Shaped Soaps
"An Avon lady would always give out guest soaps shaped like animals."
If we get them on our trick-or-treating, we take them happily! As you can read, a lady would always give out animal shaped guest soaps to those kids who knock her door on Halloween day. Very interesting treats! We are sure kids love them.
