How old is our modern world? Hardly, 150 to 200 years. How much damage have we done to the planet? Well, so much!!! Human beings have been living on this planet for the past 200,000 years. We discovered electricity. We invented automobiles and revolutionized the way we travel. We made computers. We built skyscrapers. It is unbelievable how we managed to do all these in just a couple of centuries, keeping the fact in mind that humans survived 200,000 years with no modern-day comforts. Be it ozone layer depletion or global warming, we messed up our planet the most in just about 200 years. 1.People These Days Do Anything for Likes and Shares

All some people need is attention. Unfortunately, they don't even need to step into the real world to grab public attention. They prefer to post inappropriate or absurd pictures or shitty status messages just for those likes and shares to gain the fake popularity.

2.Two Sides of the World in One Picture

A deer can never run out of food in a forest. A tiger too never runs out of its prey. That's how nature works. Unfortunately, humans, the most intelligent species of all living beings on the planet, die from hunger. Commercialization of food is one of the terrible things modern day human has done.

Pollution? Global warming? Running out of natural resources? - Well, who on earth really cares about them anyway? All we need is just money, and we will not stop ruining our planet to make big bucks.

Kids these days just stopped being kids. They dress inappropriately. They drink, smoke and do drugs. They get into relationships and talk about sex at an age where they should be enjoying cartoons and play outdoor games with friends. Outdoor games have replaced adult games and they have lost all their innocence.

7.Child Labor

More than 10% of the world children population work instead of getting educated. More than half of them work in hazardous environments. Labor laws, particularly relating to child labor, are very weak in many countries.

8.Physical Inactivity

We sit in the office for hours, come home in our cars, motorcycles, and still remain seated for hours to play video games, watch TV or to browse the internet. Physical inactivity is one of the many reasons for obesity, diabetes or cardiovascular diseases, particularly in the young generation.

9.Herd Mentality

Most of us do what everyone else around us does. We are always unwilling to a take a step that changes ours as well as others live drastically. Though the common path is crowded and long, we still walk that way because we never think out of the box.

10.Animal Killing

In the beginning, humans killed animals only for food. Today, after 200,000 years, we still kill animals for food and many other reasons including pharmaceutical and other lab experiments. Thousands of species of animals are already extinct. Many of them are going do disappear completely in coming few years.

We love our gifts. We love our gadgets. Do you know where exactly they come from? Most of the today's  awesome gadgets are made in countries like China where the labor laws are worse. Yes, a lot of children work round the year to make your Christmas special!

We see bullshit on our TV sets because most of us encourage it. A general rule of thumb: If a stupid show is still running on TV, It means people are watching it.

15.Smartphone Addiction

We are always so much involved in our smartphones that we hardly pay attention to what's going on around us. Isn't it true? We have become the living zombies.
