1.Using a blender
If you want to impress people with your choice of wine, but you have actually just bought the cheapest out there, then get your blender out to rescue the day. Whizz it in the blender for 30 seconds just to add some air to it and your wine will then taste like one that is worth 10 times as much.
2.Vodka and pie crusts
If you are making your own pies at home, then believe it or not but adding a drop of vodka to the pasty is going to help make it nice and flaky and perfect for the pies. The reason for this is that alcohol will not produce gluten and that is what makes it more like rubber.
3.Useful armchair
One cool idea is to cut a notch out of the arm of that patio chair as it will then double as the perfect wine glass holder. Of course you need to make sure that the notch is big enough for it to fit, but how cool is it to be able to just sit and relax?
4.Alcoholic sweets
Buy yourself some gummy bears, put them in an ice cube tray, cover them in vodka, and allow it to freeze for three days. The result is an alcoholic sweet, but just remember to not give them to children.
5.Ice and salt works wonders
If you have managed to forget to chill your beer, then get some ice and add salt to it and it will chill everything that bit quicker. This is so easy to do and the results you get are absolutely amazing.
6.A CD can be useful
Are you worried about that bottle of wine being knocked over and it going everywhere? Then get an old CD, make the hole in the middle bigger, and put it around the top of the bottle like a collar. This means that if it falls over it will hit the CD and stay at a good enough angle to keep the alcohol inside.
7.Vodka and orange
If you make a hole in an orange and pour some vodka in, then you do indeed get alcoholic oranges. This may very well be an acquired taste, but it is impressive and is certainly well worth trying at a party.
