For most customers in the US the Mighty Wings are a very recent addition to McDonald's menu. But they first appeared in 1990 as an optional item, then disappeared in 2003, only to re-appear in such overseas markets as China, Spain and the Virgin Island of St. Croix. At long last, they are back in the USA.
