McDonald's world famous happy meal made its first appearance in 1979. Typically, the happy meal includes an entree, a side dish, a beverage and a toy. For many kids the toy has become the biggest reason to be happy. In fact this is a big reason that McDonald's has become the world's biggest distributor of toys.
