1.Rabies
Rabies would be the most deadly disease on the planet if not for the vaccine. Transmitted through the saliva of an animal who has the disease, it can take several months for any symptoms to show. Violent movements, pain, depression, in ability to swallow water and uncontrollable excitement. Then the infected person become manic which leads to a coma and death.
2.Dengue Fever
Half of the word is at risk to catch Dengue Fever and it's an epidemic in more than 100 countries. The disease is transmitted by female Aedes Mosquitoes, where it can circulate through the blood for up to seven days, causing fever. Pain in the lower limbs and chest, some people have pain all over, including pain from behind the eye. There can also be nausea, vomiting blood, abdominal pain and severe diarrhea.
3.Yellow Fever
Yellow Fever is contracted through a female mosquito. Originating in Africa, the disease was considered the most infectious disease of the 19th century. Symptoms include nausea, pain and fever, that passes in several days for some people. For others, their livers become jaundiced, which could lead to death. Internal bleeding is one of the more serious side effects of Yellow Fever.
4.Hantavirus
Hantavirus was first identified in 1993 and is deadly. What's even more creepy about this virus is that people catch if from rodents. cardiovasclular shock can result in hospitalization, which is why rodent control is very important. Just some tiny moue droppings, saliva or urine and you can catch it.
5.Measles
Measles has been around for over 150 years and has killed over 200 million people. With a fatality rate of 30%, there are twenty one Measles strains to date. When an epidemic strikes it kills thouands, like the 40,000 people who died from it in Fiji in 1875. They were able to isolate the virus in 1954 from an eleven year old American boy.
6.Hepatitis C
There are not really any symptoms when you get Hepatitis C. Silently, it works on your liver, destroying it. Symptoms of liver damage can take decades to reveal themselves, sometimes making it too late to treat. This disease is the number one reason people get liver transplants, and 5% d!e.
7.Influenza
Influenza is the flu and many people don't take it as seriously as they should. Taking the lives of a half a million people each year, the flu works by attaching itself to cells in the lung and air passageways, killing the cells. These dead cells cause the symptoms of a sore throat, runny nose, and all the fun stuff. But too many dead cells in the lungs kills.

Symptoms of Hepatitis B are yellowing skin around the eyes, vomiting, dark urine, abdominal pain, vomiting, and fatigue. Over 2 billion people have come in contact with the virus, that's a third of the world. Luckily, most make a full recover, while others may end up with cirrhosis of the liver.

The common cold may not sound all that scary. We've all had them and we've survived, but each time we get a cold our bodies go into overdrive to fight it off. All those annoying symptoms are bodies way of fighting the virus, such as runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc. The average person gets two to four colds per year.

Because Rotavirus can live for a long time without a host, it can be picked up without even having contact with another person who has it.
11.Ebola
Ebola has an incubation period of up to 21 days, meaning they can be unaware that they've contracted it for up to three weeks. Symptoms include headache, muscle ache, and feeling tired. Fever and vomiting meant the disease is progressing, as well as hemorrhaging out of the eyes and mouth. Ebola is transmitted through bodily fluids.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) claims 3.1 million lives each year and has killed more than 25 million people since it was first discovered in 1981. A person with HIV has a damaged immune system, leaving them open to all kinds of infection. Most people with HIV end up with full blown AIDS.
