Entering into the world records books isn't as difficult as you may think. A world record means nothing but achieving something that no other person in the planet had did it before. In the beginning, world records were strictly limited to body oddities, sports achievements etc. These days anyone's name can get into the world records books by doing something rare that hasn't done before. You just need to find those ideas that help you stand out. For example, you may achieve a world record if you can somehow manage to wear as many underpants as you can! This record is the most high kicks by a chorus line and it was at the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris. The record was 450, but they got up to 720 smashing the old record. This meant that each woman had to do 30 high kicks before collapsing in a heap and it is actually a lot harder than you think, so 720 is a difficult record to beat.
