The Bee Hummingbird is the smallest of Hummingbirds and measure only 2.5 inches long full grown. Weighing only about as much as a dime, they lay the smallest eggs in the world. These little birds can flap their wings over one hundred times a minute, and hover in one spot, even landing on the tip of an eraser on a pencil.
