A horse reared up and kicked my pops square between the eyes. Drops him like a rock. I see his glazed over eyes snap into focus and his face transitions into a vicious Spartan war cry. In a blink, the 135lb man springs to his feet, flew at the horse, and drills the 1000lb buckskin with a straight right to the nose. Eyes wide and blood dripping from both the nostrils, the horse backs up looking at my dad like death is staring him in the face. Horse was scared shitless. My 135lb dad won a fight with a 1000lb horse.
