This date is referred to as the Quran code and it is all linked to numerology. Some people believe that there is a secret code in the Quran and of course some people believe that they have managed to break that code and what it says is that the world comes to an end in 2280. However, if you are reading this, then there is not much to worry about since we will not be around to witness it.
