Movies these days are getting ridiculously longer, making the movie experience difficult for people with not so firm bladder that can't withstand internal pressure! There is an app to solve that problem. RunPee mobile app lets you know the dull and boring periods of a movie, so you can happily go to restroom without worrying about missing action. This app 'RunPee' is available in iTunes as well as Google Playstore.

2.Buy Your Tickets in Advance in Bulk to Save Money

If you want to grab movie passes or gift cards, check Sam's Club or Costco. They offer them at much lower prices than what theaters like AMC, Regal etc sell at box office. However, you need to check movie passes thoroughly before buying, as some of the discounted passes only let you see movie couples of weeks after its initial release.

3.Try Netflix's Movie Pass If You Want to See Lot of Movies

Netflix's Movie Pass saves you big money if you watch movies regularly in theaters. You can watch as many movies as you want in almost all popular theaters using this Movie Pass. The subscription costs about $30 a month. However, you need to subscribe for one complete year. The only downsides are you can't watch IMAX or 3D movies with this pass. You can't watch more than one movie on any given day.

4.Go Exactly 13 Minutes Late to Theater to Skip Ads and Trailers

Trailers and ads that show up at the beginning of movies are very boring. If you hate to watch them, go to theater about 13 minutes late to skip them. 13 minutes is the minimum time given to show those ads or trailers. Try this hack only if you have an assigned seat at theater, and you don't have to go early.

5.Don't Forget to Join Theaters' Loyalty Program

Top movie theater chains like AMC, Cinemark offer free and paid loyalty programs that bring a ton of benefits to moviegoers. For regular visitors, movie theaters offer rewards, discounts on tickets, and discounts to use at concessions stand. These loyalty programs are great for those who frequently watch movies in movie theaters.

6.Sit Towards Back for Best Movie Experience

All movie theaters are equipped with digital surround music system. If you sit completely forward, near the screen, you may not experience best sound. The result will be more or less the same if you sit completely towards back. As shown in the picture, the highlighted seats are best to experience great sound and visuals in a movie theater.

This is another cool way to save some quick bucks on your movie spending. There are websites like CardPool.com or Raise.com, where you can buy gift cards of chain theaters at lower price than the actual cards' worth. These websites are kind of marketplace where people sell unwanted gift cards at good discounts to those who are willing to buy.

Sites like Groupon.com or Living Social.com sometimes offer steep discounts on movie tickets or concessions counter purchases. They may give you a free pass for another show, or swap tickets to another movie, or offer perks for inconvenience. Be sure to call them within the first fifteen minutes after movie starts. If you call them at the end of the show, you are less likely to get any benefits.

Your credit cards come with more interesting offers than what you know. Sometimes, your credit cards may offer movie going related perks. Be sure to check your credit card's website to know if there are any interesting offers. If you can't find them on website, talk to your credit card's customer care team and ask them for availability of movie related discounts or benefits.

Always see a comedy movie on weekends so theaters are usually full. Comedy movies are best when you watch them with bigger crowd. Plan your horror or sci-fi movies on weekdays, where crowd would be usually less. For best horror movie experience, watch them in a matinee show.

15.Use a Straw to Butter Your Popcorn More Evenly

To make best use of butter dispensers you usually see at movie theaters, you have to use straw as shown in the picture to spread butter deep inside the popcorn bag, so you don't have to eat dry popcorn at the end of bag. If there aren't any such dispensers in theaters you visit, ask concessions worker to spread butter evenly.
