1.Welding Test Gone Wrong at a Job Interview
I set my pants and underwear on fire during a weld test.
2.This Joke that Failed to Score
The person conducting the interview asked me to share a joke. I said, "What kind of bee makes milk? A boo-bee!" Nobody laughed. I didn't get the job.
3.And This Awkward Situation
I attended an interview one hour early because it was five hours away from my home. I didn't care all that much about the job, so I ordered a pizza while I waited. They got me in early, and the pizza was delivered mid-interview. They even ate some and didn't call me back.
4.When an Awkward Public Boner Ruined Things
I got an NRB (No Reason Boner) during the interview and couldn't get rid of it in a timely manner. At the end of the interview, I had to stand up and shake hands with the interviewer, while my raging boner was popping out of my khakis!

When they asked me how I knew about the company, I told them I met the owner's son in Vegas during his bachelor party. I think they figured out I was a stripper.

I fell asleep in a group interview while they were showing a movie about the company. It was dark, and I was sitting in a comfy chair. I nodded off. By the way, I didn't get the job!

I stepped on my interviewer's gout-afflicted toe. He howled in pain, and tears welled up in his eyes. We hadn't even made it into his office.

"Part of your job as a teller is to sell, such as getting customers to sign up for certain accounts, take out a safety deposit boxes, etc. Here, sell me this pen." Interviewer said.
Handed me the pen.
I said, "Hey, this pen is really good for writing down phone numbers, what's yours?"
9.Another Bank Job Interview Fail
I tried getting a job as a teller at a bank once. The interviewer wanted to role play how I would help a customer, and it went something like this:
Me: Hi, sir, how may I help you?
Interviewer: Hi, I would like to cash this check, please.
Me: * makes counting money gesture * here you go, thank you.
The interview ended shortly afterwards.

11.This Guy Who Neatly Escaped a Rather Awkward Interview
I thought I was interviewing for an admin assistant job. I walked into a panel of five people who gave me a stack of business requirements, marketing standards and customer surveys and left me for 30 minutes to prepare a presentation. I waited for five minutes and walked right out of the building.

I had an interview at a place a few minutes away from my house; it was the second interview, and it was with a regional manager.
After a bit, he asked to see my resume and a letter of reference. I went to my folder and pulled them out to give them to him and had two copies of my reference and zero resumes. I was embarrassed and offered to drive home and get one, but he said that coming back wouldn't be necessary.
13.Bribing the Interviewer
I accidentally attempted to bribe the interviewer with free passes to my step dad's car wash. Honestly, I did not realize the implications of it at that time. I was just trying to be nice.
14.This Dumb Answer
The manager asked,"What do you know about agriculture and farming?" I replied, "Uh, my uncle is a farmer." It was a phone interview and quickly ended after that.
15.He May Have Stayed Unemployed for Some More Time
I had been unemployed for a bit and was a little nervous and was trying to explain to the person interviewing me why I was let go from my previous job. Somehow came around to saying, "You know how female bosses can be, they have something to prove" - to the female interviewer.
