Laura Dern's cry face makes her uglier than she already is. Her tears are nonexistent, which just leaves the audience viewing a woman constantly making ugly faces. In fact, her movements when she cries are so stiff that she resembles a statue. Good thing you can fast-forward through movies and television shows, because it unlikely that anyone wants to see Dern cry.
