When Tom Cruise married Katie Holmes he gave her a $20 million Gulfstream jet as a wedding gift. Everyone knows that he was high on love, after seeing him jump up on Oprah Winfrey's chairs, when being interviewed on her show, so it makes sense that he bought her such an elaborate present.

3.Liza Minnel-li

Talk about expensive wedding registries. When Liza Minnelli married her fourth husband, David Guest, she registered for four Elsa Peretti soup tureens at Tiffany's, each one costing $4000. We have to wonder if the person who bought all four, and yes someone did, is disappointed that their marriage only lasted five years.

4.Ivanka Trump

Being invited to Ivanka Trump's wedding may seem glamorous, but not if you have to buy something from her gift registry. When Ivanka was marrying Jared Kusher, she registered for a $1300 silver bowl. The scalloped footed sterling silver Tiffany bowl was not the only elaborate thing on the list.

5.Elton John

When Elton John is expecting, he goes all out. Welcoming his newborn son home, with partner David Furrish, the singer/songwriter spent $2 million on a baby nursery above the couple's apartment in Los Angeles. That's quite a welcome home for the little guy, who has yet to learn that he has one of the most talented fathers in the music business.

6.Gwyneth Pal-trow

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is not selfish, that's for sure. While she may spend large amounts of money on herself, she also gifts it out. Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, was reportedly the recipient of a $1029 Bugaboo stroller from the Paltrow. Now that's a sweet ride for the little one.

7.Angelina Jo-lie

It must be quite the competition to see who spends more on whom, when it comes to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, but it has been reported that Jolie spent $100,000 on an inscribed motorcycle for her actor husband. However, that wasn't all. She also got him a $18,500 olive tree and a waterfall.

8.David Beck-ham

Soccer star David Beckham loves to treat his Spice Girl to nice things. Victoria Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice, was given a multimillion dollar vineyard in Napa Valley by her handsome husband. As a gift for her 34th birthday, the superstar pulled out all the stops to give her quite the birthday extravaganza.

9.Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy treated himself to a $35 million Gulfstream G5 jet, and as if that wasn't enough, he made upgrades costing another $20 million. That totals $55M for his own jet. Now that's someone with crazy money spending habits if you ever saw one. But hey, if you've got it, why not?

Katy Perry is another big spender. It has been reported that she spent $200,000 on a trip to space for Russell Brand. Maybe she loved him to the moon and back, or maybe she was sending him on a one way trip alone, but either way, the couple split and Perry can now spend her money on herself and all the different colors of her hair.

When Seal proposed to Heidi Klum, he rented a private igloo 14,000 feet in the sky at Whistler Resorts. The singer and Project Runway star, were quite the couple, until they came down from the clouds and the relationship fell apart. What will he do to top that in his next marriage proposal?

12.Justin Bi-eber

Justin Bieber has been making news for his change of persona, from sweet boy to bad boy, but one thing that's remained constant is his spending habits. Bieber rented out the entire Staples Center in Los Angeles to eat dinner and watch The Titanic with Selena Gomez. That date alone was worth over $475,000.
