Seal's face scar is one of the most recognized scars. When he was a teenager, he developed a skin condition known as discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE). The exact cause of the disease is currently unknown. Individuals with the disease tend to develop red lesions on the face and scalp. These lesions can be treated with cortisone, but they will not disappear.
