1.XIII V MCMXL
Oddly enough, these are two tattoos, not one. Inked on the inside of Angelina's forearm, the XIII is the roman numeral for 13 and is to show that Angelina is not superstitious. The V MCMXL is the Roman numerals for the date May 13, 1940, which is when Winston Churchill said, "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat."
2.Khmer Script Prayer
Angelina covered her death tattoo on her left shoulder blade with a Khumer script prayer. The phrase means, "may your enemies run far away from you; if you acquire riches may they remain yours always; your beauty will be that of Apsara; where you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surround you on all sides."
3.H Tattoo
On Angelina's inside wrist, on her left arm, Angelina has the uppercase letter "H" tattooed. It is reported to be in honor of her brother, James. It has also been said that it could be in tribute to her ex-boyfriend Timothy. Both have last names that begin with the letter "H."
4.Blue Tongue Dragon
Angelina allegedly got this tattoo when she was in Amsterdam and while she was under the influence of alcohol. This tattoo was eventually covered, but when she was younger she was photographed showing the tattoo, that she was proud of. She has since covered it with "Quod Me Nutrit Me Destruit" with a black cross, in its place.
5.Strength Of Will
On Angelina's in right arm, at the elbow bend she has Arabic script that means "determination." She translates it to mean something else for her, strength of will. Angelina certainly has strength of will and has shown it in the three children she adopted, her three biological children, her relationship with Brad Pitt, and her voluntary double mastectomy.
6.Know Your Rights
Running across the top of Angelina's back is the phrase, "know your rights." It's an homage to the rock band the Clash. Using the lyrics from her favorite band's song title, Angelina speaks of her humanitarianism but also her punk rock style. Angelina does know her rights and uses her freedom of speech to bring awareness to many world issues.
7.Bengal Tiger Tattoo
This bengal tiger tattoo was done in Thai tattooing style, by hand, taking two hours to complete. Angelina had this done on her lower back in 2004 to celebrate her Cambodian citizenship, a citizenship that she shares with her first adoptive son, Maddox.

8.Geo-Cordinates
These geo-coordinates are what Anglina had tattooed on her left upper arm, where he once had the name of her ex-husband, Billy Bob Thorton. The coordinates are the birthplaces of her six children, and there is also a seventh coordinate. It's that of the one and only, Brad Pitt, birthplace.
9.Billy Bob
Angelina made a mistake most people make when they are in love. She tattooed the name of her husband at the time, Billy Bob Thorton, on her left upper arm. After things ended with Billy Bob she had it removed by laser, and later re-inked with a set of geographic coordinates.

10.death Tattoo
On her upper left side of her back, just below the shoulder, Angelina had a death tattoo before she covered it up with Khmer script. The symbol is the Japanese kanji meaning death. this was Angelina's first tattoo before she went on to cover a lot of her body in ink.
11.A Prayer For The Wild At Heart Tattoo
This tattoo is said to mean complete freedom to Angelina. It's for everyone to find happiness and to break out of the cages that surround them. The inked phrase "a prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages," is a quote from Tennessee Williams and is on her left inner arm.
12.nourishes
This tattoo was used to cover a previous tattoo that Angelina had. Quod Me Nutrit Me Destruit means "what nourishes me, destroys me." Angelina added a black cross to those words, covering the blue tongue dragon tattoo fully. Many other celebrities get this same saying inked on their bodies.
