1.Ellen Boudreaux

Ellen Boudreaux is a blind savant, who has a keen ear for music and sounds. She was born in 1957. She was born prematurely, which is why she is blind. By the time she was four months old, doctors had confirmed her blindness. Ellen, however, shocked her family soon after by humming the lullaby that was playing on the cradle gym. 
She doesn't use a walking stick to get around. Instead, she uses echolocation(using sound to locate objects) and makes chirping sound. When she was eight-years-old, her mother made her listen to the 'time lady' recording to help Boudreaux overcome her fear of telephones. After that day, Boudreaux has been able to tell the time down to the seconds without ever having seen a clock in her life.

2.Richard Wawro

Richard Wawro had a fond relationship with crayons. He did not learn to speak before he was 11-years-old. As a child, he devoted a lot of time to drawing on chalkboard. Soon, he transitioned to drawing with crayons at the age of six and his talent blossomed thereafter.The Scottish savant became famous for his landscapes in wax oil crayon. He held his first exhibition in Edinburgh when he was 17.

3.Orlando Serrell

Orlando Serrell is an acquired savant. An acquired savant is someone who displays traits of a savant after a head injury that affects central nervous system. Unlike savants, acquired savants don't suffer from any brain-related illness until they suffer from a CNS injury. 
He began to exhibit savant characteristics after he was hit on the left side of the head with a baseball when he was 10-years-old. Soon after he came to realize that he could perform complex calendar calculations. He can also recollect the exact weather conditions every day since the accident.
Luckily for Serrell, the injury didn't affect him physically in anyway. He said he had suffered from a headache for some time, but that disappeared after a couple of years.

4.Thristan Mendoza

Thristan Mendoza is a Filipino autistic savant. Mendoza (nicknamed "Tum-Tum") is hailed as a marimba prodigy. The 24-year-old was diagnosed with autism at the tender age of two and a half. He has received numerous international awards for his phenomenal musical ability with the marimba. In 1997 the University of the Philippines presented him as a gifted child prodigy, making him the youngest person featured so far.

5.Temple Grandin

Tempe Grandin is a highly functional autistic savant. She was mute until the age of 4, but was still able to attain a bachelors, masters and doctorate degree. She is responsible for inventing the 'hug box' - a deep-pressure device built to calm hyper-sensitive people. Grandin concocted this invention at age 18. In 2010, Temple Grandin was featured in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. Actress Claire Danes portrayed Grandin in the 2010 television movie titled, "Temple Grandin."

6.James Henry Pullen

James Henry Pullen is a British autistic savant. He is also known as the 'Genius of Earlswood Asylum.' Up until he was 7-years-old, Pullen had only learned one word, mother, which he had trouble pronouncing. As a child, he enjoyed crafting objects from wood. He honed in on that craft and soon became a decorated carpenter and cabinet maker. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert both received drawings from Pullen.

7.Henrietta Seth F.

Henrietta Seth F.is a Hungarian poet, writer and savant. At 18-years-old, shewon the Geza Gardonyi Prize for her art and literature. Her life and work was featured in the documentary "Freedom of Speech." She has a Raven IQ above 140 and Mawi IQ above 120.Out of all the savants in the world, only 16 percent are females.

8.Leslie Lemke

Leslie Lemke is a blind and autistic musical savant. He sadly had his eyes removed shortly after birth, but that didn't stop him from becoming an accomplished musician. He learned Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in 15 seconds after hearing it on television. He has been profiled on several news outlets over the years.It took Lemke almost 15 years to learn how to walk.

9.Tony DeBlois

Tony DeBlois is a blind and autistic savant. He weighed less than 2 lbs. when he was born and went blind just a few days after. He began playing the piano when he was just 2-years-old. He has gone on to master playing 20 musical instruments. He has also memorized over 8,000 pieces of music. He spends most of his time touring with his band Goodnuf.

10.Alonzo Clemons

Alonzo Clemons is a special kind of savant. He suffered a brain injury as a child, and it changed the way he looked at the world forever. It is said that his IQ is between 45 and 50. But even with that setback, Clemons is able to quickly duplicate a 3D model of almost any animal after just seeing a glimpse of it. He is now notorious for his animal sculptures.

11.Daniel Tammet

Daniel Tammet is a 34-year-old English writer and an autistic savant.On top of speaking Icelandic fluently, he speaks 10 additional languages, including one that he conjured up. He holds the European record for reciting pi up to 22,514 digits.One of Tammet's slight drawback is that even with such a detailed memory, he will not remember the face of a person he parted ways with after an hour.

12.Kim Peek : The Megasavant

Kim Peek is a megasavant. It's a well-known fact that the 1988 film, Rain Man, is based on Peek's life and abilities. His brain is capable of remembering just about anything it has ever come across. When he was a child, Peek would read books, memorize them completely, and then put them upside down on his bookshelf to show he was done. It has been reported that he can recall the entire contents of approximately12,000 books from memory.
