The Ford F-Series pickup is an easy target. It was one of the best selling vehicles in 2011, putting over 584,917 on the road and in the view of thieves. With over 23,745 Chevrolet Silverado's stolen, it's easy to see that thieves are hot on this type of vehicle. They are popular for being sent overseas and sold to unsuspecting buyers, but the thieves have to deal with counterfeit paperwork to get the vehicle sent through to a port. It can be a hassle, but worth it for the money they get.

The Toyota Camry is another frequently stolen car. Thieves love these types of cars for their airbags. With 16,251 Camry's stolen in 2012, thats a lot of airbags for the thieves to sell. There are a lot of Camry's on the road, which makes it a perfect and easy target.

You may think you're safe from theft with a Dodge Caravan. It's an unassuming vehicle, and most people don't think thieves would want it. That's a mistake everyone makes, but the thief isn't going to keep it and drive it. There's valuable parts that can be sold for a lot of money. In 2012, 11,799 Caravans were stolen.

With almost 7,000 Nissan Maximas stolen in 2012 alone, they are at the top of the list of America's most stolen cars. This car is highly sought after, most likely for parts, or for the car itself.
