1.Reese Witherspoon
In one of the best roles of her career, Reese Witherspoon won the Oscar fin 2006, for her portrayal of June Carter in the Johnny Cash biopic, "Walk The Line." Since then she was only nominated for Golden Globes and other awards, not taking home any of the major award wins.
2.Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie won an Oscar in 2000 for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for the film, "Girl Interrupted." Since then she was nominated for another Oscar in 2009, for her role the film,"Changeling," where she was up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. She didn't win.
3.Halle Berry
Halle Berry has one Oscar in her career, back in 2002. It was for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film, "Monster's Ball." While she has had numerous roles since then, the actress has not captured another Oscar. Her performances are good, but not quite good enough.
4.Kim Basinger
Kim Basinger won an Oscar for Best Supporting Role in 1998, for the film L.A. Confidential. While her performance was great, she never won another Oscar since then. That's a long time to go without another win, and she seems to have fallen from grace in the industry.
5.Roberto Benigni
Roberto Benigni won an Oscar in 1998, for Best Actor for his portrayal of an Italian Jewish man in a concentration camp in World War II. The film, "Life Is Beautiful," showcased his talent as an actor, but he never managed to capture the film industry again either with acting, producing or directing.
6.Cher
Cher won her one and only Oscar for her role in the film Moonstruck, in 1987. This seemed to be the peak of her career, slipping into the dusk after that. Her portrayal of a bookkeeper in Brooklyn was well done, but she never really proved her stamina as an actress after that.
7.Adrien Brody
In 2002, Adrian Brody won the Oscar for Best Actor for role of a musician in the film, "The Piano." His performance was indeed brilliant, as he survived the Warsaw ghetto during the Hitler regime, but he has never given us a another performance like it. The Oscar sits on his shelf and might be the only one he ever gets.

8.Helen Hunt
Helen Hunt won Best Actress in 1997 for her role in the film, "As Good As It Gets," playing opposite superstar, Jack Nicholson. This was her only Oscar, and her subsequent roles were weak to say the least. More of a television actress, she wasn't worthy of the Oscar.
9.Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron took home the Oscar in 2003 for her portrayal of a real life serial killer in the film, "Monster." While she did a great job in the film, it was not Oscar worthy. Her track record before and after, tell the tale. It was an Oscar better served to someone else who deserved for their work as a whole.

10.Nicolas Cage
In 1995, Nicolas Cage won the Oscar for playing a suicidal alcoholic in the film, "Leaving Las Vegas." While Cage is a good actor, he does not consistently deliver performances that live up to the title of "Oscar Winning Actor." These awards should be given for those who live up to the name.
11.Gwenyth Paltrow
When Gwyneth Paltrow took the Oscar in 1998 for her role in the film, "Shakespeare in Love." To be an Oscar winning actress, you should consistently deliver outstanding performances. It's been thirteen years since then and Paltrow has yet to give us anything close to an Oscar worthy performance.

12.Renee Zellweger
Renee Zellweger won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2003. It was for her role in "Cold Mountain," in which many people felt that she was ruination of the movie. She beat out more deserving actors and actresses such as Patricia Clarkson for "Pieces of April" and Shohreh Agdashloo for "House of Sand and Fog."
