It is not uncommon for celebrities to show off their nude bodies. We have already seen many celebs appearing naked on magazine cover pages, movies, music videos or even on their Twitter and other social networking pages! However, at times, celebs strip for a charitable purpose as well. When celebrities strip for a cause, their act becomes a sensation, thus helping the cause gain more attention. 1.Christina Applegate - Anti-Fur
Tis the season to not be furry. In 2007, Christina Applegate posed for PETA's anti-fur holiday campaign; an ad that yet again encourages the public not to spend money on animal fur. The campaign is a play on the phrase "Forget Me Not," which oddly enough is often associated with Valentine's Day and not Christmas like the ad implies.
2.Olivia Munn - "Boycott the Circus"
Olivia Munn wants all the elephants of the world to be free instead of being used as circus performers. Her die hard dedication to the cause is understandable, but her being completely naked is not. The elephant skin is not being used to make clown costumes, so there was no need for Munn to be nude.
3.Dave Navarro -Animal Testing
Dave Navarro looks like an extra on the set of a horror movie in this ad campaign for PETA. In the ad, titled "Animal Testing Kills: Choose Cruelty Free" Navarro has patches of blood on his arms, torso and eye. To clarify the point of the ad, Navarro said, "They're not taking a bunny rabbit and putting mascara on it. They're injecting a chemical directly into its eye to see what kind of adverse reaction happens to it." This ad, which was released January 2013, marks the second time the rocker posed for the organization.
4.Bethenny Frankel - "I'd Rather Go naked"
Former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel posed for a PETA campaign back in 2009. PETA's attempt to tie-in her hometown with the ad was a complete disaster. The placement of the skyscrapers is so odd that it appears as though one building is about to stab Frankel in the buttocks.
5.David Cross - "Wear Your Own Fur"
David Cross' ad campaign is enough to make you not wear fur or eat for at least a week. The actor can be seen posing in an awkward stance for PETA's "Wear Your Own Fur" campaign. Even the audience members in the photo look perturbed by Cross's appearance. The message is there, but Cross's execution is so poor; it's hard to take the cause serious.
6.Emma Watson for "Natural Beauty"
Photographer James Houston enlisted the help of actress Emma Watson for his book, "Natural Beauty." The book was put together to raise awareness in regards to the environment and sustainable living. All proceeds from the book have gone to Global Green USA-a charity that supports a sustainable and secure future.
7.Mel B - Breast Cancer Awareness
Mel B. channeled her inner Janet Jackson when she posed with husband Stephen Belafonte. The former Spice Girl stripped down to promote a new breast cancer awareness campaign. The campaign was featured in a 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Mel B. more than likely felt compelled to do the ad since she had a breast cancer scare when she was younger.

8.Khloe Kardashian - Fur? I'd Rather Go naked
Lamar Odom is the only person who wants to see Khloe Kardashian naked. In 2008, the reality star posed for PETA's "I'd Rather Go naked" campaign. However, just four years later, Kardashian parted ways with the organization. Her decision to severe ties came after a PETA advocate flour-bombed her sister, Kim, at a red carpet event.
9.Pamela Anderson - All Animals Have the Same Parts
When you have a woman like Pamela Anderson featured in an ad campaign, men will do anything it says. Anderson, who is an active member of PETA, posed for an ad titled, "All Animals Have The Same Parts," which encouraged people to go vegetarian. The Baywatch babe became a vegetarian as a teen, and then moved into being a vegan later on in life.

10.Adam Levine for Everyman
Ladies around the world wish they could have been the woman in this photo with Adam Levine. The Maroon 5 singer took it all off in an effort to bring awareness to testicular cancer by way of the Everyman campaign. This publicity photo of Levine was featured in the UK edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.
11.Wendy Williams - I'd Rather Go naked Than Wear Fur
Wendy Williams said "how you doin'" to PETA last year. The talk show host posed for two ads for the organization's "I'd Rather Go naked Than Wear Fur," campaign. Williams posed in the buff to urge consumers to join her in saying "no" to fur. Her billboards were unveiled live in Times Square in NYC.

12.Miley Cyrus for Melanoma Awareness
This photo is proof that Miley Cyrus can use her body for more than just twerking. In July 2013, Cyrus posed nude for the "Protect the Skin You're In" T-shirt campaign. The operation was devised by famed fashion designer Marc Jacobs, in an effort to raise awareness for melanoma research.

In the 90s, Cindy Crawford stripped for a PETA's anti-fur awareness campaign. She was seen holding a cat, which covered her breasts from showing up. Nearly a decade later, in 2004, PETA activists protested against her for acting in a fur-trade based advertisement!

The ever-beautiful Eva Mendes posed naked to support PETA's anti-fur awareness campaigns. In 2007, she appeared nude (non-frontal nudity) in a PETA's anti-fur advertisement 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur'.

Kate Moss is one of the most well-known models of 90s. The 42-year-old English model stripped off her clothes on more than one occasion for noble causes. She posed naked for the cover photo of 'Four Inches' book, a book that features nude pictures of many famous women belonging to modeling, acting, music and sports fields. Approximately 10% of the earnings from the book sales goes to Elton John AIDS Foundation.
