Her father, Quincy Jones, is a notable Los Angeles-based record producer. Her mother, Peggy Lipton is a white Jew (Ashkenazi Jew). Peggy was an actress and model. Apart from a notable degree of tan on her skin, Rashida Jones doesn't look like an ethnic person. She doesn't often talk about her black heritage, but she has been staunchly supporting BLM (#BlackLivesMatter) movement lately. The black community doesn't like her, anyway!
