#12 Jupiter: The Fastest Spinning Planet

Jupiter doesn't let its large size get in the way of its movement. The planet takes 10 hours to do a full rotation on its axis.Due to the rapid way the planet spins, it has flattened substantially. Scientists say that Jupiter's equator is more than 4,600 km further from the center than the poles. The planet's rapid rotation also helps generate its powerful magnetic fields.
